Personally, I love using nail lacquers, though there are times that I leave my nails totally “naked”. So, if you’re in the same mood, craving for some inspiration, take a look after the jump!

1st Step: Paint on two coats of a colored basecoat. Here used Ginger + Liz The Good Life ($12,gingerandliz.com), a cool sky blue.

2nd Step: Using a white striping brush like Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Striper in White ($4,drugstore.com), paint one or two straight lines vertically and horizontally.

3rd Step: Add a red tip with a striping brush, like the one from Sally Hansen. Here used Ginger + Liz Boss Lady ($12, gingerandliz.com).

Good luck ladies…!

Armani: Proof that certain classics never go out of style: Designers like Armani showed a deep berry shade that will always work for fall.

Kate Spade: At Kate Spade, nail art took a walk on the retro side, whose models showed off simply sweet polka dots.

Tracy Reese: Chrome veered from its traditional gold or silver and into peacock blue at Tracy Reese.

Dior: The pale, ladylike lavender that showed up at Dior could work for afternoon tea or the office.

Zac Posen: The models at Zac Posen had high-shine red tips that felt more lacquered than ever.

Alice + Olivia: Black’s never felt less goth than at Alice + Olivia, where charcoal got playful with flecks of gold.

Valentino: Simple, sophisticated nails have graduated from beige to ballet slipper and, now, the lavender taupe spotted at Valentino.

Ruffian: The shape at Ruffian was an oblong oval, faked by the magic of a press-on nail. Color-wise, a candy-hued purple brightened things up.

Louise Gray: Louise Gray showed classic basic black-and-white, turning the old-school French into something more deliberately sever.

Jean Paul Gaultier: The shiny silver at Jean Paul Gaultier proved to be a neutral-but-not that’s surprisingly subtle.

French manicure 2012: Dare to try a different version of french manicure in turquoise and baby pink colours and you’ ll definitely make such an impression!

Cut with scissors the edge of a scotch tape in order to form a semicircle. Stick it on your nail and polish the surface that remains uncovered with the pink pastel nail polish Color Riche Le Vernis No 101, L’ Oreal Paris. Wait a while to dry, peel off the scotch tape and spend the rest of the claw with turquoise Color Riche Le Vernis Miss Candy No 616. You’ re done!

I’ m so gonna  try it!!
