~ take me down to the paradise city ~

Hey guys! I hope you’re ok with these super high temperatures because here we’re one step away from melting…! So, here is my beauty report. As I promised, I’m gonna tell you a few things about a greek beauty products company named “Korres“. Totally organic and dermatological tested. The two nail lacquers that I chose to combine are n. 35 in pastel mint ann n. 96 in paradise green. I could say tha they have a quite good implementation on nails, without being too “heavy” like a paste or something…! Plus they contain myrrh extract, oligoelements and provitamin B5 for strong and healthy nails. Their only minus point is the lack of duration due to the non use of preservatives and other colorants. There’ s a “sacrifice” you have to make, but they worth it!

~ the “naked dress” ~

15 Jun

Do you think that Rihanna was the first who wore a sheer gawn? Think it again!

When she stepped out in her Adam Selman gown at the CFDA Fashion Awards this week, she joined the ranks of “naked dress”-wearing celebrities. A very particular group of women wearing dresses not just to show off one of their assets (J.Lo’s plunging cleavage in that green gown at the 2000 Grammys? Child’s play…) but all of their bodies at once. Some of the world’s most fearless female celebs in all their body-baring glory, after the Rirri’s “naked” party…!

The original wearer of the naked dress is Marilyn Monroe. She was known for wearing dresses that made you wonder “am I seeing something I’m not supposed to see?” on several occasions, most notably in Some Like It Hot and when singing Happy Birthday to President Kennedy in 1962.
